The Cooke Anamorphic lenses feature the same great “Cooke Look” their lenses are known for, but in a true anamorphic package. These lenses produce aberrations like astigmatism. Manufactured with a coating that allows you to kick flares, bokeh and other aberrations into new visual territory. Focal lengths are all color matched to the S4/i, 5/i and miniS4/i lenses. They also feature the Cooke i/Data protocol for sending lens metadata to the camera system.
The Special Flare versions address the demand for modern front anamorphic lenses that retain many of the sought after characteristics of vintage anamorphic lenses such as exaggerated flares, oval bokeh, and other aberrations while complementing standard Anamorphic/i lenses. Along with their enhanced blue streak flares and oval bokeh, they have a good amount of distortion and more character than most modern lenses.
